I'm not one to generally go to concerts, because most of the time you get yourself all amp'd up to see your favorite artist perform, only to find out that he/she is a GRADE A d**khead with little appreciation for the people that are helping feed and clothe them and their dependents....but when I heard that Lyfe was coming to L.A., I couldn't resist. I love his music, its positive and always has a great message behind the melody. I was so pleased with all the acts that performed that night....I never even heard of Yolanda Renee/Grits until I saw her perform...I know for a fact that once her CD drops, I will be getting it. I was never really a huge fan of Solange, but now I have much respect for her ability as an artist....she entertained and interacted with the crowd. That Ray Lavender cat, is....well....I have to leave that one to the imagination...cuz....WOW!!!! And of course Lyfe was amazing. He gave the crowd an excellent show, singing songs from all his albums, as well as much crowd interaction....and showcased some really great up and coming talent. Not to mention how humble he is. I had the pleasure of running into him after the show and he really is a cool cat. He offers something that many fans can definately use more of.....APPRECIATION. I can definately say that I was pleased with the show and the next time he comes to L.A. I will be in attendance.
Definately a fan for lyfe
