I'm not sure if Lyfe Jennings actually reads the blogs posted on this website. But I hope that he does! I just wanted to comment on the peformance he gave at the HOB. It was THEEEE best performance that I have truly seen in a very long time(and it has been that way because it hasnt been anyone worth seeing in my eyes in a long time). You are great live and it is very true what you said about how people tend to spend more money on concerts than the actual album lol and its true. And you truly rocked the house that night. I was standing up top on the balcony, and let me tell you you were the only performer that showed us up top people some love. Like you showed everyone love and you didnt leave us out and I wanted to tell you THANK YOU for that. Its not like your going to remember me but I was wearing a silver greyish jacket and my friend was holding out her side kickof the balcony and was taking pics lol, and the reason why I mentioned that is because you kept looking up there at us(oh yea and we got some bomb pics of you to lol ). But my friend and I were trying to stay so that we could meet you but it was hard because we both had to go to work the next day because you performed on Sunset this pass Sunday(7/13/08). So unfortunaltey we had to leave, but i really wanted to meet you. But anyway KEEP DOING YOU! beacuse you are a fantastic vocalist and I love your selection of real life topics that you sing about and it really speaks to people and touches hearts, And i'm sure that you know that, and please whatever you do dont change! You really are a breath of fresh air in terms of your music and it is truly sad that some artist now days are more concerned about selling records and getting money that they stop being true to themselves and in turn become paper chasers. But you have truly shown along with other DOWN TO EARTH artist that you can make money and feel fullfilled by staying TRUE TO YOURSELF. And thats inspiring beacause not a lot of artist can say or do that. But ummmm hmmm well your great and if you do read this i hope that you respond. Although I do not have a myspace I might just have to create a page just to email you! lol So anyway I really enjoy your music and apprecitate the example that you have set for those who are going through or have gone through the whole prison situation, and the reason I say that is because some not all, seem to go back to the thing that got them in trouble in the FIRST PLACE,ya know so by the example that you set it shows that, that dosent have to be the case and that you can still make great things happen in your lfe regardless of what has happened in there past weather is prison or whatever else.But anyway there is I guess the added bonus which would be that you are handsome on top of all the amazing things you do! Well I hope to hear from you soon and if not then I hope to hear from you after your tour raps up.But I can only imagine how busy you must be and or get and knowing how everyone is after you to get some of your time! so be safe and have fun and stay humble lol DONT GET ALL BIG HEADED ON ME LOL. But I know you wont!
